Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services, or designee, incumbent will:
- Provide professional learning, instructional coaching, and classroom support to strengthen standards-based instruction in mathematics, science, and STEM;
- Support implementation of District-adopted mathematics and science curriculum, instructional materials, and effective instructional practices;
- Provide training and coaching in research-based mathematics practices, including Cognitively Guided Instruction (CGI), and support inquiry-based learning in science and STEM;
- Collaborate with teachers, instructional coaches, administrators, and grade-level or department teams to strengthen teaching and learning;
- Support teams in identifying priority standards, planning instruction, and developing targeted intervention and enrichment opportunities;
- Facilitate the use of formative, diagnostic, and summative assessment data to monitor student progress and inform instructional decisions;
- Analyze student achievement and program data to identify strengths, areas of need, and opportunities for continuous improvement;
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of District mathematics, science, and STEM initiatives, resources, programs, and professional learning
Must possess a Multiple Subject or Single Subject teaching credential. An Administrative Services Credential or Certificate of Eligibility is preferred, but not required.
